Bishop Stephen and Dr. Barbara Hamilton are dedicated leaders at Rhema Christian Church known for their unwavering commitment to sharing the love of God with all They believe in fostering a welcoming community where everyone, regardless of their background, can find support and guidance. Their mission is to uplift and assist individuals all walks of life, embodying the true of compassion and service. Bishop Stephen L. Hamilton
Bishop Stephen L. Hamilton, ThD. D.D., Sr., was ordained in 1994 in the Bibleway Church of Our Lord; and Consecrated to Bishop in 2004 by Apostle Melvin Dunn; Apostle James Nelson Sr., Bishop George “Awesome” Dawson; and a College of 12 Bishops from various organizations.
Currently, he is Senior Pastor of Rhema Christian Church in Hempstead, Texas. Bishop Hamilton also serves as PCAFI under the leadership of Bishop Lambert W. Gates.
He is a highly sought after conference speaker; and operates in all five of the gifts given to the church of Christ. Bishop has a unique anointing; as well as a, strong prophetic and deliverance ministry.
In addition, he is a businessman that is President of Htech Professional Services; has owned a travel agency; bookstores, restaurants and car dealership. Bishop Hamilton has been Instrumental, in the birthing of many churches and ministries; in and throughout the United States and abroad. He’s hosted several radios and television broadcast; and authored several books. Additionally, he’s released two CD’s; which are currently selling worldwide. Bishop’s wife is Dr. Barbara Hamilton, and they’ve been married for over 35 years; and have three children; Latoya, Stephen and Joseph and 4 grandchildren.

Dr. Barbara Hamilton was Born and raised in St Louis Mo. and now resides in Houston tx
She turned her Life over to God after living a of crime and being hooked on drugs in 1987. Baptized and Filled with the Holy ghost and fire the same year at New Jerusalem Temple Church of God under the leadership of Bishop Steward Stiles Sr. Where she sang as a lead singer in the Choir and was trained and mentored by the Senior Mothers in Altar work and intercessory pray. She also was liscensed as a Missionary in the Bibleway Church of Our Lord Inc.
She was later was released into ministry as an Evangelist under the leadership of Bishop Reynolds Thomas and also earned a Bachelors degree in ministry from St Louis International Bible Colllege. Lady Hamilton also served under Dr Wilbert Clark in Advanced Prayer and Intercession.
Lady Barbara is the proud wife of Bishop Stephen L Hamilton ThD for 33 yrs She has worked with him in many facets of ministry and birthing of 3 churches and is the Lead Intercessor of the church in Sunny Side Tx. Lady Hamilton is also the proud grandmother of four. She currently is a National Evangelist in CKFI and she also works with the the GUF under Bishop Neil C Ellis on the International Prayer Team.
